Retirement planning is misunderstood by most. A vast majority of people aren’t ready for retirement. A huge portion of people have no retirement savings. Most people have a “one-size-fits-all” plan.
So what’s the culprit behind all of the retirement mistakes? Easy… the advice people receive from the experts is dangerous, unrealistic, and downright destructive. Most people are told that if they save a little every year, they can retire in half a century. Unfortunately, this isn’t true for most people.
That’s where Retirement Blog comes in. This website takes a rational, systematic approach — use these principles, and you can build a healthy retirement income, discover the best places to retire, and retire much earlier than you ever thought possible.
Retirement Blog is broken up into four basic topics:
- How to retire. How to build retirement savings, and find an adequate source of retirement income. We explain passive income, dividend paying stocks, permanent portfolios, mutual funds, annuities, MLP investments, REITs, rental properties, and the whole nine yards.
- Where to retire. Once you have the retirement money, you need to figure out the retirement destination. We explain the best places to retire, the cheapest places to retire, and cover other info you’ll need to learn about retirement locations.
- When to retire. What’s the best age to retire? Should you retire as early as you can, or wait a while? Or should you even focus on age at all? That’s all covered in the retirement age article series.
An early retirement isn’t impossible — not by a long shot. If you approach retirement with caution, critical thinking, and aren’t afraid to think outside of social norms, you can retire early and retire wealthy — it’s a choice.
Other retirement related topics are covered as well. Information about picking the right mutual funds, dividend investing, annuities, CD rates, mortgage rates, understanding the basics about inflation — it’s all covered.
Most importantly, we have a free retirement newsletter. We only send out messages when we have something extremely important to say.
Most importantly, the retirement newsletter below provides a systematic approach to retirement that will help keep you thinking about something knew you’ve never thought about, and can help keep you on path to retire early and retire rich.
